The AHP Careers Fellowship Scheme

The AHP Careers Fellowship Scheme is now open for applications. We think that the Scheme is an asset for AHPs in Scotland and that it can be used to support the COVID-19 recovery journey. So, for this year only, we are opening for applications which focus on recovery and rehabilitation, which build on the learning from the pandemic and help AHP services plan for the future. Find out more below

The scheme supports career development for the AHP workforce in the public health and social care sector in Scotland. It does this by funding AHP staff to;

1)  participate in a learning programme delivered by NES and

2)  lead and deliver their own rehabilitation/recovery focused work-based project over 10-               12 months to improve, change or develop AHP services. This can be in your own team,               service, locality, organisation or region. We will also consider national projects

What do we mean by rehabilitation and recovery?

We mean a project that is consistent with the scope and vision of the Scottish Government’s Framework for supporting people through recovery and rehabilitation during and after the COVID- 19 pandemic

Or projects which support rehabilitation and recovery within services for children and young people

see our FAQs and Application form for more details about what you can apply for.
