ScotGP Retain and Sustain

More of Scotland’s GPs could be supported and nurtured to stay in clinical practice, following the development of a new more flexible and attractive retention option: ScotGP Retain and Sustain’ (ScotGPRS).

Replacing the previous GP Retainers Scheme, ScotGPRS expands the programme to a wider range of doctors. By doing this, it is hoped that more of Scotland’s GPs can be supported and nurtured to stay in clinical practice, improving the long-term stability of the workforce.
