If you are a health and social care practitioner interested in, or keen to find out more about education and training, workforce development, and digital solutions then register now for our National Workforce and Education Conference 2026.
Taking place on Thursday 23 and Friday 24 April 2026, the theme for this year's online event is 'Collaborate. Innovate. Transform: Delivering change towards improving health, social care and other public services in Scotland'.
Welcoming delegates on day one will be:
- Prof Karen Reid, Chief Executive, NHS Education for Scotland (NES)
- Dr Jennifer Dixon DBE, Chief Executive, The Health Foundation
- Steph Wright, Managing Director and Co-founder, Our AI Collective CIC
The online conference, which is free to attend, offers a number of plenary and parallel sessions run by all professional groups, as well as opportunity for joint sessions highlighting interprofessional learning.
Within the programme this year, NES is also hosting the Four Nations AI in Education Conference. This follows on from November 2025’s landmark virtual conference exploring the responsible and innovative use of artificial intelligence in healthcare education, which brought together educators, trainers, and leaders from across the UK to share insights, best practices, and visionary thinking.
Register – and find out more about the conference, the speakers, and session descriptions – today.
