New Turas learning site to support eating disorder awareness and care

In advance of Eating Disorder Awareness Week, NES has launched a dedicated Turas learning site for staff who support children, young people and adults with an eating disorder.

The site brings together resources and training for professionals across health, social care, third sector and education settings, and will continue to develop as new content becomes available.

The learning offer aligns with the National Specification for the Care and Treatment of Eating Disorders in Scotland (Scottish Government, 2024), supporting improved awareness, earlier identification, timely referral and appropriate treatment.
