New Equality and Diversity learning resources on Turas
The Equality and Diversity Zone has been reviewed and updated to make it easier to find relevant and up to date learning resources on equality, diversity and human rights topics.
Anti-Racism and Neurodiversity
Under the new Equality Topics section you will find learning resources relating to specific groups of people who are protected from discrimination, harassment and victimisation under equality legislation.
New learning resources here include a series of short videos on anti-racism, seminars focused on neurodiversity in the workplace and the neurodiversity toolkit produced by the Business Disability Forum (BDF).
If you are employed by the NHS in Scotland you can access the BDF toolkits and a range of other resources - just register as a member using your NHS email address. This is thanks to Scottish Government funding.
Leaders and Managers
The new leaders and managers page collates links to learning resources, guidance and toolkits which will help you develop your understanding and keep up to date with a range of equalities topics. This includes links to Dyslexia Awareness and Sexual Harassment eLearning modules and the Leading to Change Allyship Hub.
Leading to Change offer resources on how to be an inclusive leader, including events and blogs which cover different inclusion and diversity topics and highlight diverse voices from across the sectors.
The Allyship Hub, accessible from their website, to provide information about what allyship is and how to be an ally in practice. The Hub hosts learning resources and shares best-practice guidance and stories from across the sectors, with the hope this will help to develop a network of active allies across health, social care and social work in Scotland.
