National Workforce and Education Conference - final call for open paper and poster abstracts
The National Workforce and Education Conference 2026 is taking place on 23 and 24 April – and the February deadline for abstract submissions for open paper and posters is fast approaching.
If you are employed by the NHS in Scotland or by a partner or collaborating organisation, or beyond – whether that is in the UK or overseas – it is not too late to submit your form. Although you will need to be quick to make sure you meet the submission deadline of 1 February, so make sure you take action now.
Delivering change
If your work and that of colleagues aligns to the theme of this NHS Education for Scotland-hosted conference, which is ‘Collaborate. Innovate. Transform: Delivering change towards improving health, social care and other public services in Scotland’, and you are interested in sharing and discussing it with interested multi professional audiences, then please complete the open paper and poster abstracts form today.
You will need to draft structured abstract text (with a 300-word limit), outline objectives that align to conference themes, and provide content that fits within one of our abstract categories:
- Careers – Structure & Support
- Interprofessional Education
- New Perspectives & Novel Methods in Education & Training
- Online Learning
- Simulation
- Training Delivery
- Miscellaneous
