Digital health and care leadership programme (DLP)

The new digitally enabled workforce team, in collaboration with the NMAHP team at NES are expanding and scaling up the NMAHP digital health and care leadership programme (DLP).

This programme is for ambitious and experienced health and care professionals who want to contribute to the use of digital in their organisation. The programme develops key leadership skills and the ability to influence the use of digital solutions to benefit the people of Scotland.

The eight-month programme is structured around three key themes:

  1. strategic leadership and innovation
  2. application of technology to support service delivery and benefit patients/people
  3. enhancing the contribution to technology-enabled practice

Programme participants will attend webinars, take part in discussion groups, peer learning and practical activities including undertaking a digital improvement project. You can find information on past cohorts experience of the programme in the Snippets Magazine 2021

Recruitment is currently underway for Cohort 16 of the programme and is open until the 19 August 2021.
