NHS Education for Scotland are pleased to be participating in the forthcoming  Scotland’s Health Research and Innovation Conference which takes place in Edinburgh on 23 October 2025.

The conference is hosted by the Chief Scientist Office (CSO) and will explore the theme of Research Enabled Health Innovation and offers NES the opportunity to engage with innovators, researchers, policy makers, staff and the public.

Fiona Fraser, Associate Director, NHS Scotland Academy Learning and Innovation Directorate said:

"We recognise the CSO conference as a great opportunity for the Research and Innovation (R&I) community to engage and share developing activity across this R&I pipeline.  NES collaborate with key stakeholders, enabling skills and capabilities in this field.  Visit us at the NES stand - let's start the conversation."

NES representatives will be sharing activity and principles of the recently published NES Learning and Education Research and Innovation Plan. The plans scope and definition align with the current National Innovation Strategy: National innovation strategy 2023 to 2033.
