Annie Gunner Logan has been appointed as the new Vice Chair at NES from 1 September, as Douglas Hutchens' term comes to an end.

NES Chair David Garbutt said:

"I am pleased to announce that the Cabinet Secretary has appointed Annie Gunner Logan as the new Vice Chair of the NES Board from 1 September 2023.  She brings a wealth of insight and experience, both from her existing role as a NES Board member, and also her previous roles. I am sure you will join me in welcoming her to this role."

Annie was previously Chief Executive Officer of the Coalition of Care and Support Providers in Scotland (CCPS), a membership organisation bringing together Scotland’s third sector social care organisations.  She has served as a non-executive Director of the Scottish Government since 2014, and in that capacity serves on the Executive Board of the Crown Office & Procurator Fiscal Service (COPFS).

Annie has also previously served as a non-executive member on a range of public and voluntary sector boards, including the Office of the Scottish Charity Regulator (OSCR) and the UK drug and alcohol treatment charity, Phoenix Futures.
