Updates to the Knowledge Network website

The Knowledge Network has a new Information Skills Training section.  The section highlights the many training opportunities open to our users.

It aims to give clear access to a wide range of resources and support available to staff who wish to develop their information skills.

Support available includes:

  • Getting Started with The Knowledge Network sessions, as well as training on specific services and tools. This can be either as a group or by 1-2-1 appointments.
  • Self-directed eLearning on a range of information skills.  Including effective literature searching, health literacy, digital skills and getting published.
  • Short instructional video tutorials to help you use The Knowledge Network Library Search.
  • Training information from our suppliers to help you use the resources on the Knowledge Network.  This includes evidence summaries, bibliographic databases and medicines information.

Over the last couple of months there has been a refresh of the other sections.  These include the mobile resources information officially moving to the Point of Care Section, and the Learning and CPD section now being accessible through the More Information Sources section on the homepage.
