Supporting Technology Enabled Psychological Therapies and Interventions

Our publication, the ‘Matrix - A Guide to Delivering Evidence-based Psychological Therapies in Scotland’ informs the provision of high quality psychological therapies and interventions.  The Psychology directorate is currently updating the guidance chapters and the scope of the document across 2021-2022. As part of this process we have published a review of the evidence for the use of technology enabled psychological therapies and interventions.

The move towards using technology to deliver psychological therapies and interventions began prior to 2020. However, the speed of change to meet the needs of the population during the COVID pandemic has been unprecedented.

As a result of its relevance, the review has been published on Turas Learn.  A new learning site is also available with a range of resources to support the safe and effective delivery of evidence based psychological therapies and interventions in services in Scotland.

Note: You will need a Turas account to view and access the resource.  If you don’t have an account, you can register here.
