Quality and Safety Fellowship keeps on growing

After an 18-month pause due to the COVID pandemic, Cohort 12 of the Scottish Quality and Safety Fellowship (SQSF) has now graduated.

34 Fellows from 5 countries made up the cohort:

  • 18 Scotland
  • 6 Northern Ireland
  • 2 Denmark
  • 7 Norway
  • 1 New Zealand

Over the course of the programme, the Fellows completed a number of impressive projects to improve the safety of patients in their organisations. You can view their posters on the Quality Improvement Zone.

Louise Bell, SQSF Cohort 12 Fellow, said

“The learning and networking opportunities delivered throughout SQSF were hugely beneficial and led to many successful quality improvement projects. I was incredibly grateful for the chance to meet with such enthusiastic and dynamic national and international healthcare leaders. The collaboration within our cohort and national groups ran at pace despite the pandemic.
“The knowledge of measurement for improvement, influencing organisational culture, engaging teams, design thinking and human factors and safety, most definitely supported and enhanced my clinical leadership throughout the pandemic. Our fellowship cohort may have finished but our network continues, and I look forward to many collaborations in the future.”

Congratulations Cohort 12, we look forward to seeing what you achieve next!
