NMAHP Development Framework Workshops
The Nursing, Midwifery and Allied Health Professionals (NMAHP) Development Framework – Managers Workshops
To meet the changing healthcare needs of the Scottish population, we need a workforce that can adapt to these challenges. The NMAHP Development Framework aims to articulate the knowledge, skills and behaviours required to optimise care delivery and promote staff well-being. It provides practitioners, managers and educators with a useful structure to support learning and development that will span the career pathway.
We are hosting a series of workshops to support managers to use the NMAHP Development Framework: 27 Feb, 12 March and 19 March 2025 at 12 – 1pm. The workshops have been developed in close consultation with managers.
Workshop deliverables include:
- an overview of the NMAHP Development Framework and its benefits for you
- a detailed explanation of the key components of the framework
- insights into how the framework can support staff development
- guidance on available resources and support materials
- practical processes to simplify and enhance your use of the framework
Catrin Evans, Principal Educator Workforce Education and Career Development Team said:
