New sessions aimed at sharing knowledge and experience in Technology Enhanced Learning

Due to the popularity of the Technology Enhanced Learning (TEL) Knowledge Sharing Network which has been established in NES, we are keen to find out if a similar approach could be helpful in supporting health and care colleagues across Scotland.

A series of three short introductory information sessions, which aim to provide practical guidance on effective learning practice, will take place in April, May and June.

The TEL Knowledge Sharing Network was initially established as a community on Microsoft Teams, together with regular Technology Enhanced Learning (TEL) Meet Ups, as a staff support resource at the onset of the pandemic in March 2020.  The network has now become an active community of practice where colleagues share knowledge and answer questions.

Participants have the opportunity to take part in the regular sessions as they happen or can access recordings at a later date.  Sessions cover a range of topics which support technology enhanced learning, including Teams functionality, accessibility, whiteboard/ polls and software demonstrations.

The Meet Up sessions will be hosted on Microsoft Teams and will be open to all staff in health and care.

The sessions are scheduled for:

  • Tuesday 26 April
  • Thursday 19 May
  • Wednesday 8 June

Full details will be shared in the coming weeks – to register your interest now, please add your details to this form.

The sessions will be evaluated in order to provide the opportunity for participants to share their feedback on their experience, and to help establish if this would be a useful approach to build on moving forward.
