NES funding a further cohort of technology enhanced learning (TEL) train the trainer

What is the TEL train the trainer programme
The train the trainer programme is an introductory level programme giving health and care staff, who design and deliver training, the opportunity to experience the course from the view of the learner - and to be able to deliver the programme themselves, to colleagues.
An introduction to the TEL train the trainer programme
Who is it for
The programme will be delivered by NES and the University of Highland and Islands and is aimed at those who are working in learning and development roles in health, care and third sector, and who have:
- an interest in delivering digital learning solutions
- a passion to increase the use of technology for the benefit learners
- determination to develop their digital skills
Programme content
Designed to combine core digital learning content within four virtual workshops, the programme requires 20 hours of learning over nine weeks.
Dates
Participants must commit to attending the workshop sessions on the dates below.
- Thursday 6 October, 10 to 12.30
- Thursday 20 October, 10 to 11.30
- Thursday 3 November, 10 to 11.30
- Thursday 24 November, 10 to 11.30
Applications are welcome from employees within NHS Scotland, social care and the third sector, who are in a learning and development role and working to upskill digital skills within their organisation or across the sector.
