Infection Prevention and Control during the COVID-19 Pandemic - Supporting, Valuing and Listening to Health and Social Care Workers

Our Infection Prevention and Control (IPC) team recently delivered a webinar on ‘Infection Prevention and Control during the COVID-19 Pandemic - Supporting, Valuing and Listening to Health and Social Care Workers’.  It is now available on Turas Learn.

In partnership with ARHAI Scotland and the Scottish Government, the 90 minute webinar gave health and social care staff the opportunity to put any concerns and questions to a panel of clinical experts and frontline staff.

The panellists shared intelligence on:

  • routes of transmission
  • new variants of COVID-19
  • how different interventions prevent transmission

The group of experts also provided the latest information on IPC measures and the scientific base that underpins them.

Over 1400 staff working in health and social care attended one of two webinars in March 2021.

Staff unable to attend one of the live webinars can access a recording via the Protecting yourself and your workplace environment homepage on Turas Learn.

As well as the recording, the web page contains:

  • PowerPoint presentation with notes
  • PDF document version of the slides and notes
  • Questions and answers transcript from live sessions
  • An evaluation form

Access is FREE, no registration or account is necessary.
