How did we perform in 2022?
We've published our annual Self-Assessment and Annual Review document. It shows how we delivered last year against national priorities, helping staff across health and social care to deliver better health and better care for the people of Scotland.
This period covers establishment of the NHS Scotland Academy, in partnership with the Golden Jubilee, to accelerate and improve training for both health and social care. As part of this, we progressed the Youth Academy - working with partners to implement new foundation and modern apprenticeships for young people in health and social care.
We established a new Social Care Directorate, to reflect the continued integration of these sectors. We supported a high-quality learning environment through our leadership programmes and the workplace placements we support across many professions. And we continued work to support flexible and rewarding employment by extending Lead Employer arrangements to dentists in training, and hosting the Centre for Workforce Supply to support international nurse recruitment.
These are just a few of the ways we worked with partners to help them.
