Programme Update

Learning and Development Strategy

The National Learning and Development Strategy accessible publication is hosted on the NHS Scotland Assure workforce planning and development webpage.  The strategy will also be hosted on the Healthcare Built Environment TURAS page, which will be going live shortly.

Knowledge & Skills Framework for the HBE

The second draft of the Knowledge and Skills framework for the HBE has been circulated to key stakeholders for comment, including feedback from the initial consultation from colleagues in NHS boards and external partners, and this is currently being evaluated.

Leadership Development

The first HBE Senior Leadership development session took place in December 2021. This was a great success with territorial and special board representation from all over Scotland. We received very positive feedback both during and post webinar and there was an increase in pre and post webinar knowledge as measured by Mentimeter.

A second NHS Lanarkshire session in January was also very well attended, received positive feedback and also demonstrated an increase in pre and post webinar knowledge.

Further Spotlight sessions are planned for 2022.
