Clinical decision support enhanced for health and social care in Scotland
NHS Education for Scotland has enhanced its national subscription to BMJ Best Practice to include access to the Comorbidities Manager.
The BMJ Practice Comorbidities Manager is a practical, evidence-based tool and is available to all health and social care staff across Scotland via The Knowledge Network.
One in three hospital patients in the UK has five or more health conditions, making care more complex. Clinical guidelines only focus on one condition at a time, which can lead to poorer health outcomes and longer stays in hospital.
