Navigating Death Certification, Reporting to the Procurator Fiscal and Death Registration: A Masterclass Webinar Series

Overview

This practical three-part webinar series is designed to help doctors and other health and social care staff in Scotland develop confidence in managing the legal and procedural responsibilities that follow a person's death. Led by experts from healthcare, forensic pathology, the Crown Office and Procurator Fiscal Service and National Records of Scotland, the series will provide up-to-date guidance, real-world case examples and practical insights to support safe, accurate and timely practice.

We strongly encourage attendance at all three sessions to gain the full benefit of this webinar series. However, each session can also be attended as a standalone event if you are unable to attend the complete programme.

Thursday 26 November 18:30 - 19:30 - Death Certification Masterclass: Completing the MCCD and navigating the review process

Thursday 3 December 13:00 - 14:00 - Registration of Death: Supporting best practice beyond MCCD completion
