Highly Specialist Cardiac Physiologist

Phil Matthews is a Highly Specialist Cardiac Physiologist - specialising in Cardiac Rhythm Management – based at the Golden Jubilee University National Hospital (GJUNH). Over the years he has acted as a departmental Training Co-ordinator for students at apprenticeship, bachelors and masters degree level. He currently acts as the lead assessor for 2 students on the Cardiac Science pathway of the Scientist Training Programme (STP) based at GJUNH in addition to being an assessor for the final Independent Assessment of Clinical Competence (IACC) of the STP.
