Lorna Crawford completed a BSc (Hons) in Genetics and an MSc in Medical Genetics before joining NHS Greater Glasgow & Clyde in 2002. Following Clinical Scientist training in Genomic Medicine and completion of the Diplomate examination of the Royal College of Pathologists, she became a Principal Clinical Scientist.
She is Head of Programme for Healthcare Science Quality Assurance within PSD Scotland and Healthcare Science Clinical Lead for Scotland with the Academy for Healthcare Science. Alongside her clinical and leadership roles, she holds a range of professional and academic appointments across the UK.
