Scottish IPC Education Pathway - what's new?

The Scottish Infection Prevention and Control Education Pathway (SIPCEP) provides a national approach to infection prevention and control education. Since the launch of the foundation layer of the pathway in June 2017 there have been over 240,000 e-learning module completions across health, social care and higher and further education.

We have gradually been building the new IPC Zone on the NES Turas Learn platform, the new home of the SIPCEP. From 1 November 2018 all staff working across the social care sector in Scotland can register and access the pathway resources on Turas Learn via the IPC Zone. This follows the move of NHS Grampian and all users of the pathway from Scottish universities and colleges to Turas Learn in September 2018. NHS health boards can still access the pathway materials on learnPro NHS should they wish.

You will find more information about the transition to Turas including FAQs and support documents on the NES website.
