2018 AHP Careers Fellowship open for applications

25-July-2018

The AHP Careers Fellowship Scheme is a fantastic opportunity for you to keep learning and developing your career as you lead a work-based project to improve, or change or develop AHP services. Something that makes a difference to the people you provide a service to. So… What’s your big idea? Or… What little thing could you do that would make a big difference?

What’s happening?

The AHP Careers Fellowship Scheme has changed. For 2018 we’re introducing a new model that continues to support your learning and development while demonstrating the positive impact the Scheme has on individuals and the service. It is open to AHPs at all levels working in the public sector in Scotland. It opened for applications on 4 July 2018 and will close on 3 September 2018.

What will the new scheme look like?

Successful applicants will join a cohort and follow a 10 month programme which includes:

  • a learning programme (7 days in total covering leadership, improvement, project management, evaluation and action learning)
  • a personal work-based project carried out in your own team, service, locality, organisation or region. The scheme will fund your release to do this.
