Introduction to Systemic Practice and Family Interventions

NES are working in partnership with the Family Therapy Training Network to provide a 5 day Introduction to Systemic Practice and Family Interventions for Specialist CAMHS staff. The course will take place on 14th, 15th and 28th February 2013 and 1st, 29th March. Attendance at all dates is required.

The CAMHS Competence Framework defines the clinical knowledge and skills underpinning various clinical activities.  This includes a range of systemic competences including assessing a child's functioning within multiple systems.  These skills contribute to the process of developing a full formulation and the part in which individuals, families and the wider professional networks can play in helping understand a child's behaviour as well as designing cohesive, coordinated interventions.
