Tutor Declaration

For each training year, all tutors are required to complete a Declaration Form. Once we have received notification that you will be a tutor for the 2018-19 training year we will request that you complete this declaration.

Tutor Training

NES have developed tutor training modules for all tutors involved in pre-registration training. There are four core modules within this tutor training:

Module 1 – Setting Learning Outcomes and Planning

Module 2 – Formative Assessment

Module 3 – Giving Feedback

Module 4 – Coaching and Mentoring

These modules can be accessed via your Turas Learn account https://learn.nes.nhs.scot/

There is also an overall assessment covering these four modules which should to be completed once you have worked through all modules.

Regional events may also be hosted by your Regional Practice Education Co-ordinator and details of these events will be advertised directly to current tutors.
