Festival of Learning, Developing the Future Workforce to meet the needs of the Scottish 2020 Health and Social Care Vision and The First Scottish Health & Social Care Team Challenge

In collaboration with Scotland's Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) the above event was held on Wednesday 12th March 2014 within Robert Gordon University.

The morning session focussed on Allied Health Professions (AHPs) and their preparation for new ways of working to support Scottish Governments 2020 Vision. This included poster presentations, workshops, a range of speed presentations and a key note speaker.

Care Homes as Learning Environments for Allied Health Professionals

The NES AHP Practice-Based Education Team are holding an event to explore opportunities for learning together in the care home environment.  The event will enable those working in social care, education or health sectors across Scotland to celebrate success, contribute to and shape future developments, and share innovative ideas about learning in the care home environment.  For further information or to book a place please use the links below.

Shaping the Agenda Event November 2012

A number of Scotland's Allied Health Professionals took part in the AHP Careers Fellowship 'Shaping the Agenda' event.  This event was focussed on helping to shape and direct future AHP learning opportunities, as well as celebrate and evaluate the diversity of learning experiences supported by the AHP Careers Fellowship.
