The latest edition of NES Pharmacy News includes its programme of events for Autumn 2017 featuring three topics that will be delivered in a number of board areas (tailored to local needs):

  • Mini-clinical update on Mental Health

In addition, six new educational resources are available via Turas Learn, including: 

  • Pharmacy First elearning module (developed in collaboration with Robert Gordon University) 

  • Learning module on use of Varenicline within the smoking cessation service 

  • Hard copy resources to suport medicines counter assistants to undertake effective OTC consultations 

  • An Introduction to Scottish Medicines Health Care Data Processing and Reporting 

  • Cardiovascular disease eLearnng modules 

  • Revised Gluten-Free Food Service (GFFS) support pack
