Planning for Impact and Return on Investment
As an organisation responsible for training and education, NES is accountable for demonstrating the value obtained from expenditure
We are therefore using Return on Investment methodology to plan for, and evaluate, effective learning which will have a measurable impact on the service.
We are currently:
- using ROI methodology across the Educational Development Directorate to plan and implement learning
- offering accredited courses in ROI methodology to NES staff across Scotland.
We are currently piloting the introduction of these courses to colleagues across NHSScotland. Next steps are dependent on evaluation of this pilot.
