Education Platform
Developing alternative methods of educational delivery are of significance to remote and rural workforces, when mainstream communication routes can be inaccessible or unreliable.
In direct response to demand from front line staff and NHS Boards from remote and rural areas across Scotland, the RRHEAL distributed education platform will commission, co-ordinate, host and deliver high quality education programmes via a blend of low and high technology solutions.
Delivery of education via the platform will make best use of a range of technologies including, though not exclusively, video conferencing, web streamed education podcasts and DVD. Learners will be supported by NES Knowledge Services expertise and the full resources of the Knowledge Network.
