On-Call Duties
The ' Training those required to perform on-call duties in local health protection rotas in Scotland' guidance was developed following extensive consultation with those involved in an d responsible for health protection services in NHS Scotland.
The document is intended for personnel who are coming onto on-call rotas through specialist training routes or who are being recruited to carry out on call duties.
The document is not primarily intended for those colleagues who are already on health protection on call rotas (supervised / unsupervised) but NHS Boards may wish to take account of the document for CPD activities and audit purposes.
