Patient Safety and Clinical Skills

Reports from Events

In line with NES policy, and best practice, we encourage colleagues who attend conferences, learning sets, etc. to consider compiling some key points from the day for the learning of others working on Patient Safety in NES.

March 2010:  Report on the Joint NHS Education for Scotland and Scottish Patient Safety Programme Event, 31 March 2010
 - NES and SPSP hosted a joint event, on the 31 March 2010, to establish what QI training and education is currently available and to inform the future development of the undergraduate and postgraduate QI curriculum. The main aim of the day was to establish how QI methodology is delivered and to explore how to embed QI theory and process into future curricula. It also aimed to look at research into the effectiveness of QI training and implementation.

For the presentations and resources from this event, along with images from the day, please go to the SPSP page for this event.
