The Midwifery and Reproductive Health Team within NES have considerable professional and educational experience to support NHS Scotland and others in ensuring that not only the maternity care workforce but the wider health and social care sector support women and families.
This is achieved through both the development of educational resources and the delivery of clinical evidence based education and training through the Scottish Multi-professional Maternity Development Programme (SMMDP).
