Initiative: Learning Resource on Autism Spectrum Disorders
This on-line learning resource is designed for any professional who is working in the health care system at the primary care level (eg General Practitioner; Allied Health Professionals Dentists, Opticians, Public Health Nurses; District Nurses; Practice Nurses; and Dental nurses).
The NES Portal is our national online course booking and management application, allowing you to search and book CPD events offered by NHS Education for Scotland. Furthermore, it is the primary application used in Dental Vocational Training recruitment and management.
Initiative: Clinical Skills Managed Education Network (CS MEN)
The Clinical Skills Managed Educational Network (CS MEN) was set up in 2007 as an integral part of the Clinical Skills Strategy for Scotland, tasked with delivering evidence-based standardised educational resources; developing a quality assurance system for assessing the teaching of clinical skills; building a national network of healthcare educators and practitioners; funding research and development in clinical skills education; and commissioning and deploying a mobile clinical skills unit to provide equity of access to state of the art simulation facilities for remote and rural healthcare practitioners.
