This resource is provided for all Scottish NHS and non-NHS health and social care staff. It is also available for students in Scottish Higher or Further Education Institutions.
The anticipated online learning time is around 5 hrs (this includes the completion of the activities).

The programme will be of interest to a number of staff groups in the NHS and Local Authority settings including: Consultants in Public Health Medicine, Specialist Trainees, Health Protection Nurses, Microbiologists, Environmental Health Practitioners, Facilities staff and Higher Education staff
Course Information
The Guidelines on Management of Legionella Incidents, Outbreaks and Clusters in the Community document provides a blueprint for individuals and organisations in Scotland on how to respond to the challenge of Legionella. It details the actions and processes that should be followed to ensure public safety, maintain effective communication with relevant stakeholders (including the public) and comply with appropriate legislation and guidance on managing public health incidents.
To achieve maximum benefit from the resource, it is strongly advised that users of this resource first familiarise themselves with the guidelines document. This will enable them to take part in the interactive activities and reflective elements in the resource and form an understanding of how guidelines implementation might look in practice.
It is anticipated that the course should take around 2 hours to complete.
