Introduction

A blended approach to education and learning has been used in the development of this programme.

There are two components to the programme

  • Theoretical e-learning
  • Completion of a workbook in the clinical practice area

The topics of the programme are based on the decontamination life-cycle.

Each unit deals with a discrete aspect of endoscope decontamination practice.  Whilst the units can, and do stand on their own, each one is essential in its use and application when decontaminating endoscopic equipment.
