Welcome to Psychological Interventions Team website
The Psychological Interventions Team has been set up by the Scottish Government Mental Health Directorate to support the delivery of the HEAT waiting times target for access to psychological therapies by increasing the capacity of the workforce to deliver psychological therapies and interventions.

Training Programme 2011 - 2012
The Psychological Interventions Team has commissioned and developed a training programme for 2011 - 2012 that includes training opportunities for each Scottish Government Health Department priority area (Alcohol, Forensic, Low Intensity Interventions, Older Adults and Trauma). Information about course content and eligibility is disseminated to the Psychological Training Co-ordinators in the local health boards.

Psychological Therapy training Co-ordinators
Psychological Therapy Training Co-ordinators (PTTC) are responsible for the dissemination of information and the co-ordination of psychological training within the local health board. Please click here for the list of a list of Psychological Therapy Training Co-ordinators in your area.
Evaluation of the Winter Training Programme 2010 -
2011
The Psychological Interventions Team commissioned and developed a
winter training programme for 2010 - 2011. This learning plan
included training opportunities for each Scottish Government Health
Department priority area (Alcohol, Forensic, Low Intensity
