Overview:: Aim To update participants on the management of multiple sclerosis, including current treatment options and how these medicines are selected and used in the individual patient. Learning outcomes At the end of this session, participants will be able to: List the current symptomatic and disease-modifying treatments available. Describe the factors affecting treatment choice and monitoring in an individual patient. Describe the prescription and supply of MS medication including patient selection criteria, shared care issues, and mechanisms for supply.

This evening, aimed at hospital pharnacists, will be a live webinar presentation with a lecture followed by an opportunity for on-line questions to the presenter. The evening will include discussion of the various disease modifying agents used to reduce the frequency/severity of relapses in multiple sclerosis.
