South-East
The South-East of Scotland Deanery oversees training in Borders, Fife and Lothian and is based in the Lister Postgraduate Institute in Edinburgh.
We are based in the historical heart of Edinburgh in a building named after Lord Lister, founder of antiseptic surgery.
This reflects the long proud history of medical education in our part of Scotland. With the University of Edinburgh, the SE Deanery has a strong focus on academic medical training as well as providing well regarded clinical programmes.
