SCOTS (Supporting Clinicians on Training in Scotland)
Find out more about what’s on offer and how to book
The aim of SCOTS courses and workshops is to help prepare clinicians for their various roles within postgraduate medical education.
They aim to strike a balance between providing information about the context in which the various educational roles take place - the current framework of postgraduate medical education in Scotland - and allowing participants to share their wide range of knowledge and experience of training as both trainee and trainer.
There are currently four courses available for clinicians involved in postgraduate medical education. They are:
- Clinical Supervision
- Educational Supervision
- Doctors in Difficulty
- Training Programme Director (TPD) Course
All bookings for SCOTS Courses will be made through the NES portal or can be found using the courses and events search above.
To book, first register with the Portal (if you have not already done so), then find your course. All payments will be made online through the NES portal.
