Work for support staff
NES HCS will support NHS Boards in the educational development of HCS Support Worker (SW) and Assistant Practitioner (AP) staff to facilitate a more consistent and cohesive approach to the education, training and career progression of this group of HCS staff across NHS Scotland.
NES HCS will work in partnership with NHS Boards, Further Education Colleges, Higher Education Institutes, Workforce Planners and other relevant key partners to take this intiative forward.
A NHS Life Sciences Support Worker and Assistant Practitioner Education and Training Group (NES NHS Life Sciences) was convened between September 2010 and June 2011.
