Quality Improvement

As a CT2 Dental Trainee you are in the ideal position to improve the system you work in and the care for patients, as you work in a variety of specialties and observe many areas of good practice. This is an opportunity for you to develop your skills, knowledge and confidence to lead, plan and deliver a quality improvement project within your chosen clinical area. This programme commences October 2016-February 2017.

What will you do?

  • You will identify an area of practice that could be improved upon in your clinical area.
  • You will learn about improvement methodology and apply this to your chosen piece of work.
  • You will receive quality improvement support and feedback from a QI mentor each month.
  • You will have the opportunity to write your work up for publication and present at national/international conferences.

How do you get involved?

You are invited to apply to participate in this CT2 Dental Trainee Quality Improvement project. Spaces are limited. Please complete the application form below with your details and an initial idea for an area that could be improved upon.
