NES provides a training programme to allow Dental Administrators/Receptionists gain a recognised Professional Development Award (PDA) in Dental Administration, awarded by Scottish Qualifications Authority (SQA)
Professional Development Awards
The Professional Development Awards give candidates the opportunity to gain a much sought after qualification in the field of Dental Practice Administration.
Candidates attend a series of core and optional unit workshops and are given assignments to complete at home following each workshop. They gain a vast amount of knowledge in subject areas such as Health & Safety and Communication which can be immediately implemented in the workplace.
The awards encourage the development of skills and experience, boost confidence and offer networking opportunities. Some of our current Practice Managers have progressed from the Dental Administration award, demonstrating the opportunity for career progression and skill escalation.
