Pre-registration Reference Group

The AHP PEL Programme has an on-going commitment to supporting AHP pre-registration practice education. There are a range of projects that are being taken forward within the PEL Programme to support the development of the future graduate workforce. These initiatives involve the implementation of the Practice Placement Partnership Agreements, implementation of Quality Standards for Practice Placements, Models of Practice Placements, Terminology and Data Collection for Practice Placements, Preparation of Practice Educators and Growing the Next Generation of AHPs.

One reference group has been created to have an overview of all of the initiatives that involve student practice education within the PEL Programme. The reference group is to ensure that a collaborative and partnership approach is taken with each initiative.

Membership & Purpose of the Reference Group

The evolving membership, purpose of the group and its role and remit are presented below.

The reference group is structured around a 'hub and spoke' concept. A diagram explaining the linkages of the reference group to the pre-registration initiatives of the PEF Programme is presented below.
