Dysphagia DVD Interviews

If you have difficulty eating, drinking and swallowing

To make the video clips we interviewed 2 carers about their experiences and the tips and advice they might offer. We also interviewed 4 different allied health professionals. We have used some of their advice in the food and drink texture advice clips but here are the interviews in full to give you more useful advice to help you manage your dysphagia. If you want to know more, you can refer yourself to the services or ask your GP to refer you. There are lots of support groups for carers and families both for adults and children with health conditions that affect eating, drinking and swallowing. Ask your speech and language therapist for contacts in your local area.
