PEL Development
AHP PEF Programme Management and AHP PEL Development
Within the NES AHP PEL programme management group we will work to maintain the AHP PEL structures across all the 14 territorial health boards.
We will support and develop the AHP Practice Education Leads (PELs) through:
- Strengthening our induction programme for new PELs
Providing one-to-one personal development contacts for PELs with Practice Education Co-ordinators that will support a learning needs analysis and identification of appropriate development opportunities for these posts - Support national development events
- Continue to develop the AHP PEF Programme volumes on the web
- Continuing to support individual PEL educational development e.g. by linking with the AHP Career Fellowship Scheme.
