Professor Valerie Maehle
Non-Executive Board Member of NHS Education for Scotland
Professor Maehle is the Dean of the Faculty of Health and Social Care at the Robert Gordon University, Aberdeen, with responsibility for the provision of undergraduate and post graduate professional qualifying courses for a wide range of health and social care professions. She is a Fellow of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy, a Visitor for the Health Professionals Council and has extensive experience in curricular development, validation and regulation of health professions and inter-professional education. As well as prior experience on the Board of NHS Education for Scotland, she has been a member of Grampian Health Board for number of years and in this capacity she also chairs the Aberdeenshire Community Health Partnership. She has strong interest in role development and Service Redesign.
