Mrs Ambi Wildman

Project Lead - Dementia

Ambi has over 20 years experience of working within health and social services and education.  She has worked within the public and voluntary sectors, particularly with service users and carers who are especially at risk of exclusion and stigma whether related to, mental health, dementia, learning disability or older age.  She has experience of working in residential and community services and hospital settings.  As a Registered Mental Health nurse, Ambi has worked specifically in the area of dementia care.  She also has qualifications in Psychology and Teaching.  Ambi lectures part time at Napier University and also designs and delivers training and teaching for students, nurses, social services staff, voluntary sector staff and volunteers.  Ambi also project manages The National Forum on Ageing Futures Group at the Centre for the Older Persons Agenda at Queen Margaret University and undertakes research in the areas of older peoples issues.
