Patient Rights (Scotland) Act 2011 - What this means for you

The Patient Rights (Scotland) Act 2011 supports the Scottish Government's vision for a high quality NHS that respects the rights of patients, their carers, and all the people who deliver NHS services. NES have developed an information leaflet and a series of factsheets for staff who provide NHS services to explain the different sections of the Act and to outline what this means for staff. The leaflets and factsheets can be found at:

For further information or if you wish hard copies of the leaflets or factsheets please contact Jane Davies or Angela McCulloch on 0141 223 1435
