Regional engagement

Regional Engagement helps NES identify the needs and priorities of NHS Boards, regarding workforce development, service redesign and education and training issues

The NES Regional Engagement team works closely with colleagues (internal & external) involved in workforce planning & service redesign in the North, South East and West regions.

All information and solutions are fed into the wider NES Engagement  process and contributes to the twice/yearly Engagement Reports.

How does regional engagement take place?

The processes involved are different across the 3 regions, reflecting the different needs and geography of the different areas.  There are 3 Education Project Managers who have regional engagement as part of their role.  They meet regularly with key Board staff in their region to identify regional education & training issues and help implement solutions.
